This holiday season, Realtex teamed up with the Berkeley Food Pantry and the Berkeley Humane Shelter to collect donations for Berkeley’s residents, both people and pets alike.

West Bay Pilipino’s – 50th Anniversary Celebration

Realtex spent an enjoyable Saturday afternoon hosting a community event for neighbors of 2902 Adeline. The event highlighted the proposed project plans and schedule and featured Halloween themed activities such as pumpkin decorating and face painting.

Bronze plaque opening ceremony


The Victoria Manalo Draves bronze plaque opening ceremony took place on Saturday October 10th. Realtex is proud to be a co-host with the National Federation of Filipino Americans. Working closely with community to preserve Filipino American heritage and raise awareness of the importance of parks in South of Market neighborhood.

Bronze Plaque Unveiling Ceremony & Reception


Realtex is proud to be a co-host with the National Federation of Filipino Americans in sponsoring the Bronze Plaque Unveiling Ceremony & Reception at Victoria Manalo Draves Park.

Realtex worked closely with NaFFA and other community organizations to provide the funding of the plaque, which commemorates Victoria Manalo Draves as the first Asian-American woman to win an Olympic medal.

The unveiling will take place on Saturday, October 10 at 10 am. Please join the community and its co-sponsors for a morning of food, dancing, and cultural ceremonies.

Asian Pacific Islander’s fundraising effort for SFPD mounted unit


Realtex is proud sponsor of Asian Pacific Islander’s fundraising effort for SFPD mounting unit. Fundraising event was held on Saturday August 29 at Far East Cafe. We had the pleasure to meet with captain Curtis Lum and chief of police Greg Suhr, as well as Rex Tabora with API organization and Rudy Asercion with National Association of Filipino American association. We are excited to be valuable member of the community and will continue our support.

Bessie Carmichael Bike & Roll to School Day 2015


As part of Realtex’ support for safer roads and sidewalks in SoMa we sponsored the SF Bike Coalition’s Bike & Roll to School Day 2015  at Bessie Carmichael Elementary School. Around 100 kids participated by rolling to school and participated in various activities and discussions about safe ways to get home from school. Realtex was able to distribute reusable water bottles and safety information cards to help inform kids on how to stay healthy and safe when traveling around their neighborhood.


Neighborhood Meeting – 363 6th Street Project


Realtex presented its plans for 363 6th Street to neighbors and members of the surrounding community. We were joined by Forum Design, our project architect, and representatives of SF Public Works. The conversation was both an update on ongoing infrastructural improvements to Clara and Shipley as well an introduction of our project to the neighbors.

Walk to Work Day 2015


On April 9, 2015 Realtex joined Walk SF, the Bike Coalition and District 6 Supervisor Jane Kim during Walk to Work Day 2015. The event, which encourages pedestrian infrastructural improvements and overall safety, began at 18th and Castro and culminated at City Hall. Walk to Work Day’s biggest initiative is the Vision Zero Campaign, which aims to end all pedestrian traffic deaths by 2024. Realtex not only supports this vision but is making various streetscape enhancements on our project sites to mitigate dangers for pedestrians and bicyclists

Ma’ARTES Crowdfunding Launch Party


On April 3, 2015 members of the Realtex team attended the Ma’ARTES Crowdfunding Launch party. Kularts & FADF in partnership with API Cultural Center & Manilatown Heritage Foundation will be presenting over features over 50 artists at 6 events featuring works that represent the Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, and Music of the Pinoy Diaspora during the Ma’ARTES Festival this May throughout the city.

The crowd funding campaign’s goal is to help make as many of these events free to the public as possible.

Habitat For Humanity


Realtex has been actively involved with Habitat For Humanity in the Bay Area. The Neighborhood Revitalization program is Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco’s long term commitment to building communities in partnership with other organizations such as Realtex. Their fundamental mission is to provide local families with new affordable homes, which are increasing in demand. Members of our team have supported Habitat’s housing efforts by volunteering on construction sites in the South section of the city.

On October 30, 2014 members of the Realtex team met with Jim Meko and the Westen SoMa Citizens group for the second time to discuss our projects.
